From new solid colours and woodgrains to stone patterns, the new Formica collection of decors adds to the brand’s already diverse range of surface solutions.

Available from Laminex, Formica’s newly launched 2023 collection consists of 3 new Solid Colours, 5 new Woodgrains and 3 new Stone Patterns, expanding their already diverse range of surface solutions. With this collection, it’s now easier than ever to curate a palette that truly reflects your style and design vision.

Formica has been manufacturing laminate in Australia since 1957, and their colourful history has informed the product’s position as a stress-free, efficient, and pragmatic surface for getting the job done.

Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and wardrobes, Formica laminate is a durable, hardwearing material that is incredibly robust and easy to clean and maintain.

The refinement and simplicity of the Formica range makes it easier than ever to explore and select decors for residential projects.

The three new Solid Colours include Simply White, a solid clean white with a tiny touch of yellow; Riverside, a soft natural greyed blue-green; and Grassland, a very pale greyed organic green for warmth.

The five new Woodgrains are Soft Oak, a popular blonde oak with gentle grain detail; Mellow Oak, a medium-toned brown-grey oak with gentle grain detail; Golden Oak, a golden, slightly rustic oak with natural grain detail; Provincial Walnut, a warm medium-brown walnut with balanced grain detail; and Shadow Walnut, a greyed-brown based walnut with balanced grain detail. Available in Velour and Grain finishes, Formica Woodgrains encapsulate the warmth and character of real timber in a resilient surface that is ideally suited to high-traffic areas.

Also new to the range are the three new Stone Patterns, including Purestone, a fine pure marble design with delicate diagonal patterning; Grafito, a hybrid stone design with contrasting white veins against a softly detailed grey background; and Truestone, a terrazzo-inspired concrete decor on a neutral grey base. Taking inspiration from the natural beauty of stone, marble, quartz and concrete, Formica Stone Patterns are a more approachable alternative to natural stone, offering a similar look for a fraction of the price, with the added benefit of enhanced durability and flexibility.
