Australian made RAPTOR rope davits from Sayfa Group enabled safe and easy rope access at a mid-rise commercial development in Collingwood, Victoria.
The $20 million building comprises of 8 levels of high-quality office accommodation, boutique retail on the ground floor and mezzanine, with a rooftop terrace and basement car parking.
Sayfa Group worked with the installer Britesafe to install a unique rolling rope access davit system on this building.
Aesthetics in design is always on the radar for those who work in the architecture sector, so when the SAYFA design team proposed concealing the RAPTOR rail within the parapet for the davits to slide along, the suggestion was welcomed. The alternative was to have fixed locations for the floor mounted davits, which wouldn’t have been as aesthetically pleasing and would provide less manoeuvrability for those working at height.
Other SAYFA products that were installed on this building included XPLORA wall mount fall arrest anchors on levels 1, 2 and 3, anchor strops, 3SIXTY top mount fall arrest anchors, TRAVEL8 wall mount static lines, and KATT ladder support brackets on the mezzanine floor canopy.
