The BHP Billiton Global Headquarters recently won a 5 Star Award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards and the prestigious Regional Award to represent the Asia Pacific region in the 2014 International Property Awards in Dubai.

Designed by interior design firm Geyer, BHP Billiton’s new global headquarters in Melbourne, Australia is located at 171 Collins Street, and is the first premium grade commercial building delivered to the Melbourne CBD in 20 years.

As the global headquarters of one of the leading companies in the world, the building demonstrates BHP Billiton as a world leader on a global and human scale.

Andrew Mackenzie, CEO, BHP Billiton comments that the new head office is a distinctive architectural statement in the heart of the Australian business community, and is designed to help them collaborate and share ideas in an open and enjoyable way.

The International Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe. Since 1995, they have celebrated the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. The awards are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, UK and USA with the highest-scoring winners from each region entered into the overall International Property Awards.
