interiordesignEX 2001 success


2001 interiordesignEX was the most successful to date for Melbourne with trade attendance at its highest level in the event’s 13 year history. Sharing the success were the winners of the interiordesignEX 2001 Product Design and Stand Design Awards. The awards were proudly sponsored by Info-link.

Event organiser, Australian Trade Exhibitions, is ecstatic with the results and has announced plans to expand and refine the exhibition for next year.

“COMFIA, the official exhibition of the Commercial Furniture Industry Association of Australia, will co-locate with interiordesignEX in Sydney next year,” said Jacinta Reedy, Exhibition Manager from ATE. “This will result in the most comprehensive and effective commercial interior design showcase in the southern hemisphere.”

2002 interiordesignEX will be held 11-14 April at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

InteriordesignEX is proud of its ongoing endorsement from the Design Institute of Australia, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand.
