Woodhead International, a leading Australian design practice in Asia Pacific, has announced its move into Europe.
Through a joint venture agreement with distinguished Italian architectural practice Interplan Seconda, the new business entity, Woodhead Interplan Srl., is registered in Italy and will therefore be eligible to register for bid for any project in the European Union (EU) including NATO defence projects.
Woodhead Interplan will focus on these major projects throughout Continental Europe and also the Middle East and will eventually move the operation from Naples to Rome.

“We both have a strong focus on design and our combined experience should allow us to successfully compete in Europe,” he says.
Key areas of interest for Woodhead Interplan SRL is the immediate opportunity to register for a number of European airports considering refurbishment programs, especially in the airport retailing, an area Woodhead has leading expertise.
“Woodhead International and Interplan Seconda have a proven ability to deliver projects in the airport sector. The aim of Woodhead Interplan is to create innovative buildings from the visual and functional point of view,” Holm says.
