AUSTRALIAN Pump Industries has released the Aussie Cobra, a drain/sewer cleaning machine, primarily for the plumbing trade market.
The system uses the “Big Berty” Bertolini 29.65MPa (4300psi) pump that delivers 21L/min, which allows the Cobra’s Mustang reverse jet drain cleaning nozzles sufficient power to clean pipes quickly. The pump is driven by a Honda 20hp twin cylinder electric start engine, with the entire system mounted on a trolley frame with four pneumatic tyres, which is compact enough to easily pass through a normal household doorway.
The reverse jet nozzles are driven up the pipe by the machine’s combination of flow and pressure. The reverse jet turbo root mulcher cuts roots in pipes easily, driven by the pressure from the pump.
The Aussie Cobra is designed for cleaning grease and effluent build up in drains and comes with a wide range of accessories including a portable hose reel that enables the operator to use up to 60m hose extensions on top of the 60m, 1/4" sewer cleaning hose which comes mounted on a reel as part of the Cobra.
