Trend Windows and Doors’ customers will now be able to experience DecoWood -the timber look that never needs painting.
Trend has chosen the DecoWood marine grade polyurethane powder coating for their Trend aluminium windows and doors.
Decowood, from Decorative Imaging , is a durable powder coated finish that has all of the natural beauty of timber wood but with none of the disadvantages of timber windows.
Using new technology from Europe, which enables natural materials to be imaged directly into a durable powder coating, this patented heat transfer process involves photographic images of real wood being transferred directly into the powder coating. It makes DecoWood the ideal timber window alternative.
The powder coating used in the DecoWood process is supplied by Interpon, a leader in powder coatings and the resulting wood finish windows are available in a range of timber finishes including western red cedar, snow gum, bush cherry, honey gum and walnut burl.
