The Sound Barrier System is an add-on glazing system which is installed on the inside of existing windows or glass doors.

This glazing system creates a double-glazing and therefore reduces noise. The advantages are that existing windows do not have to be replaced and window style is matched. And, of course, peace and quiet are achieved at minimal cost and with minimal inconvenience.

The air pocket created between the original window and the Sound Barrier glazing system provides an insulating medium for both noise and thermal insulation. Another point to note is that both the original windows and the Sound Barrier System can be opened for cleaning and ventilation.

Sound Barrier Systems can reduce noise transmission by up to 75%. The exact figure depends on factors such as the age, condition and shape of the original window.
