Entries are now being accepted for the 2005 Public Domain awards, recognising Australia’s best use of concrete in the urban environment.
Organised by Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia, the biennial awards reward and encourage the innovative and functional use of concrete in the public domain.
The 2005 awards have seven categories covering streets, paths, precincts, walls, bridges, public artworks and sustainable design. One project will also be named best overall.
To be eligible for entry, projects must have been completed between March 2003 and May 2005. Nominations can be submitted by any individual or body with a direct relationship to the nominated project such as the contractor, architect, developer or owner.
Nominations close March 25, 2005.
