Australia’s premier design and architecture showcase, DesignEX, opened this morning at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour.
In its 22nd year of operation, DesignEX is now a flagship event for organisers, Diversified Exhibitions. The 2010 event offers visitors a taste of what lies ahead in the world of architecture and design, and exhibitors the opportunity to display their newest innovations and ambitions.
Media partner of DesignEX 2010, Infolink (www.infolink.com.au), online directory for the Australian architecture, building, and design industries, have a team on hand at stand 1455, where visitors and exhibitors can experience hands on website demonstrations, sign up to receive the latest in design and architectural product news and even add their own business listing to the Infolink website.
“It’s becoming crucial for businesses to have their products and solutions found online,” says Infolink Group Sales Manager, Doug Laird.
“A listing on Infolink.com.au boosts online presence, branding and sales and is now integral to the online advertising and marketing strategies of many of our clients, such as Zip, Hafele, Laminex, Trend Windows, and Caesarstone. We invite all attendees to visit our stand, near the Outdoor Room, for a demonstration and to find out more,” adds Laird.
There are many feature areas at this years DesignEX exhibition, including the Kaleidoscope area, a showcase of the latest in textiles and soft furnishings, the D4S area, dedicated to showcasing sustainability at it’s finest, and the Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie, which is back again for 2010 to showcase the latest in landscape design directions and bringing the outdoor room to life.
Visitors to DesignEX will also be able to attend a number of inspiring and informative seminars including today’s presentation on ‘What’s Creativity Got To Do With It?’, by Prue Royal.
