Australian Exhibition Services (AES) has launched a major new event for the building and construction industry, Surfaces Australia. The exhibition will be staged at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 5-7 September 2003.
Surfaces Australia will bring together a broad range of architectural surfacing products from flooring to wall coverings, laminating products and cladding plus accessories, installation and maintenance equipment.
The show is supported by leading trade organisations including the Australian Tile Council, Australian Paint Manufacturers Federation, Australian Resilient Floorcovering Association, Building Designers Association of Victoria, Carpet Institute of Australia, Commercial Plastering Contractors Group, Master Painters Australia, Master Ceramic Tile Layers Association of Australia, National Home & Building Suppliers Association, Stone Industry Association, and The Floor Covering Association of NSW.
The exhibition will include product feature areas for Tile & Stone, Coatings, Resilients, Timber and Laminates, Carpet & Rugs plus Accessories & Equipment. Initial interest from manufacturers, distributors and importers has been very strong, and the show is expected to attract buyers and specifiers from all stages of the distribution process.
