Recent design applications using Fusion by the Laminex Group include the Parents Room at Fox Studios in Sydney, Gritti Palace hairdresser in Adelaide and Mr Whippy Ice Creams and Umi Sushi Restaurant in New Zealand.

For the Parents Room, Fusion Customart was used to show creative freehand graphics that have been digitally captured, enhanced and coloured; for the hairdressers, striking zebra stripe materials and fresh woodgrains were used to create a contemporary feel and a fresh upbeat environment, while for Mr Whippy clever graphics became digital files that allowed Fusion Customart panels to provide a durable medium for conveying brand and product imagery.

In the Umi Sushi restaurant the Orient was the inspiration through the use of white stones and bamboo. These images lift and brighten the environment and add to the authenticity of natural materials with photo real images afforded by the printing technologies employed. Fusion Design Source employs the services of a graphic designer and is an image bank dedicated to image creation and development. The Design Source comprises 154 proprietary designs created and owned by The Laminex Group, 18 design groups, covered in one of three board styles: 3D, illusionary, photo realistic or abstract.
