Enhanced Content and Enhanced Content Green Stars listings from Ecospecifier provide a detailed product assessment regarding environmental and health attributes, specifications, issues of concern, and product category-related discussions.
EC and ECG listings are viewable only by Subscribers with valid usernames and passwords. Subscribers can log in and click on the relevant links to be taken through to the product listings.
Following are the products for the subscribers
- GECA Ecolabel Certified - Forbo - Artoleum Floor Covering [EC]: Biodegradable, low VOC, natural raw material, resilient floor covering for residential, heavy duty commercial and general industrial use. PVC-free. To complement this low VOC, environmentally prefferable floor covering product, Forbo provides a low VOC flooring adhesive recommended for installation.
- Armstrong- GECA ecolabel certified- Fine Fissured & Dune Ceiling Panels [ECG]: Fine Fissured and Dune are durable, low VOC (awaiting final test data) and E0 formaldehyde, commercial ceiling panels using steel, or aluminium (including modular), suspension systems. The ceiling panels are produced using over 50% recycled content (15% post-consumer).
- Vertilux - Eloquent (Blockout) and Zing [ECG]: These are glare control fabrics made from polyester, with an acrylic backing. Similar to the below listing, these fabrics can reduce significantly heat and glare, and subsequent energy use in air-conditioning. PVC free and 100% recyclable. Uploaded 6/07/07.
- Vertilux - Eloquent (Translucent) and Madison (Blockout) [ECG]: Glare control fabrics made from polyester. Suitable for use in roller blinds, roman blinds, and panel glide systems for commercial and residential applications. This product is PVC free and 100% recyclable.
- Briggs Veneers- GECA ecolabel Certified- Non-FSC Veneers [ECG]: A range of sustainable raw timber veneers from managed timber sources, and all are GECA certified. Low VOC and formaldehyde raw veneers. Suitable for interior veneering applications for residential and commercial use.
- Style Limited- Style Lock & Style Select Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring [EC]: Highly durable and stable strand woven bamboo flooring, available with standard tongue and groove (Style Select), or unique Unilin ‘click-lock’ floating floor jointing system (Style Lock). This unique system allows easy disassembly and reuse, significantly reducing potential material use. Suitable for interior residential and commercial applications.
- ECG = Enhanced Content plus Green Stars listing- The highest level of ecological, health and technical assessment. Highly detailed with major product claims, verified based on test data or other third party or independently certified sources. This level of information is only available to subscribers, however, every ECG has an abbreviated BLP that is available free in the public domain.
- EC= Enhanced Content- Also represents full ecological, health and technical assessment of a product, but without considering its relevance to specific Green Stars credits. Highly detailed with major product claims verified based on test data or other third party or independently certified sources. This level of information is only available to subscribers, however, every EC has an abbreviated BLP that is available free in the public domain.
- BLP = Basic Listing Plus- These are summary assessments. Can be assessed using various levels of data quality, with the minimum level being manufacturer declaration with third party verification of all key environmental or health claims. BLP's appear in both the public and subscriber domains, and are shown with [BLP] after the product name.
- BL- Basic listings are only available in the subscriber domain, with the level of verification acessed in the 'Outcome or Green Star Credit' search box. Basic listings do not include a small square bracket extension in the product name.
