Kohler, an American-based global leader in products for kitchens and bathrooms, has announced the acquisition of Englefield Bathroomware, Australia’s second largest marketer of acrylic bathroomware.
Most Englefield products will be rebranded as Kohler products. The business will operate within Kohler's Kitchen and Bath Group.
Englefield's founder, Roger Englefield, will support the organisation as a consultant from the company's headquarter's in Auckland. According to Englefield, the sale is part of his company's managed growth plan. Englefield Bathroomware markets its acrylic shower enclosures, baths, spa baths, vanities and accessories under three brand names: Englefield Design, Englefield and BathroomWorks. Englefield products are designed and manufactured in New Zealand and Australia.
