With a storage capacity of either 40 or 60 kWh, both space heaters are fitted with sensitive capillary bulb thermostats which serve to control the amount of heat taken in by the unit core during charge time.
The heat is stored in the core, allowing only minimal static heat dissipation through the case.
When the room is occupied and requires full heating, air is forced through the heater core by quiet, slow running fans and out into the room.
The air passes through a mixing damper, thus providing for rapid uniform heat up of the room. When the preset temperature level is met, the fans in these space heaters automatically switch off.
A direct acting element fitted in the air mixing chamber provides instant back-up heat in the event of a sudden drop in temperature.
