For the fifth year running, Dado has displayed its DADOquartz bathtubs at the prestigious Cersaie 2010, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings held annually in Bologna, Italy.
Four of Dado’s free-standing luxury bath models have been on display this year and attracted considerable attention due to their design and material characteristics.
Two of the bathtub models on display were exclusively designed for a leading Italian supplier of interior design bathroom products. The other two bathtubs, the Acanthus and Emily, are freely available in the market. The Acanthus is aimed at large bathrooms and offers traditional comfort and luxury. The Emily is a single wall, modern bathtub offering a comfortable bathing experience, whilst being economical with floor space and presenting a crisp modern design.
Dado introduced the high quality matt appearance five years ago. This look is now ever more recognised as attractive, long lasting and versatile. It is also noteworthy that Dado’s choice of luxury free standing bathtubs is in line with the market swing from built-in models to free standing baths.
DADOquartz is engineered stone with special scratch, mildew and mould resistance, excellent heat retention, colour stability, zero water absorbency, UV resistance as well as high thermal shock resistance. This is achieved through tight quality assurance throughout the entire manufacturing process including materials selection, casting and finishing. DADOquartz has a unique alabaster-like appearance. It has a soft sheen of reflected light as if gently polished to reveal its solid body mineral make-up.
DADOquartz products carry a 25 year warranty.
