A simple to use and attractive alternative to expensive cable shears has been developed by igus for use in computer cabinets, printers drawers, switch cabinet construction as well as on movable electrical equipment.
Available from Treotham Trading, the SnapChain system greatly reduces the time it takes to install and bundle cables. It comprises individual chain links equipped with integrating connective elements used to keep the system very compact. Defined, selectable stoppers protect the cables from damage caused by the prospect of the cables remaining under the minimum bending radii.
SnapChain can be used in self-supporting form - ideally with 5-12 chain links, both vertically and horizontally.
