BEAVER Sales has announced its appointment as a major product supplier of safety equipment to the Westlink M7, via Australian Safety. The company is supplying B-Safe safety harnesses, height safety equipment, and materials' handling gear to contractors working on the project.
Kerrie Pryke, workplace initiatives manager for the WM7 project, said: “We chose Beaver Sales due to their ability to react to our needs for both technical support and the supply of quality products. Beaver Sales has the ability to load-test, and to provide NATA certification for all of our lifting equipment. Their product knowledge and support allows us access to cutting-edge technology, ensuring compliance. This will enable us to lead the industry in safe modern construction methods. Another important consideration was the fact that their products are manufactured in Australia.”
With safety is key factor on the project, Beaver’s high safety standards were a primary reason for its choice as a supplier. It has its own NATA-accredited equipment testing facility (Beaver Testing) at Girraween (NSW).
