The Albany RapidRoll 900 high speed rolling door consists of three main parts, the top roll, the shafts, and the curtain. The top roll consists of a steel tube with welded end caps and the shafts are supported on both sides by bearings. The curtain is riveted to the top roll, and sealed towards the wall.
Anodised aluminium side frames on both sides of the curtain guide it in an upward and downward motion, and they can be quickly and easily opened for service. A pneumatic safety contact strip, made of weather resistant, oil proof rubber assures an effective seal.
For safety, the Albany RapidRoll 900 high speed rolling door reverts into the open position should the edge come into contact with an object.
The RapidRoll 900 high speed rolling door curtain is constructed from extremely rigid, tear resistant RollTex fabric. This fabric seals against moisture and drafts and is available in blue, orange, and grey.
Powered by a 3 Phase motor with a worm gear, the Albany RapidRoll 900 high speed rolling door prevents drafts and heat loss, thus helping to reduce energy costs.
