The ARBS 2010 (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services) exhibition has wrapped up another successful event, with record numbers of attendees, seminars leaving exhibitors buzzing.
Managing director of Carel, Kevin Marr, said his visiting peers from the APAC region commented that the exhibition was one of the most organised shows they had seen.
“I didn’t think it would be possible to exceed the results of previous shows, but ARBS 2010 has been the most successful for us yet,” said Marr.
Exhibition manager Sue Falcke was very pleased with the results, commenting that so many other exhibitions had felt the pressure of the global financial crisis, yet ARBS had barely registered the economic downturn.
“This year’s exhibition had a major boost with our extensive seminar program featuring over 40 highly acclaimed guests speaking on sustainability, energy efficiency and retrofitting. These seminars and workshops were immensely popular, demonstrating that our industry is serious about its role in creating green buildings for tomorrow,” said Falcke.
This year’s ARBS exhibition was also the host of the inaugural ARBS Industry Awards, where the following winners were honored:
