The latest architectural projects to gain recognition from the Australian Institute of Architects ’ 2011 National Architectural Awards will be on display at a public exhibition at the Gallery of Australian Design (GAD) on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
Opening from the 10th of November to Saturday, December 10, 2011, the exhibition will showcase all 34 winning or commended architectural projects in an array of stunning photographs and written descriptions.
One of the highlights of the exhibit is the recipient of Australia’s top annual national architecture award - the 2011 Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture; the Australian War Memorial Eastern Precinct in the ACT designed by Johnson Pilton Walker JPW.
The gallery will also be selling copies of the book INSPIRE, showcasing the winning architectural projects in 2011.
