Supawood Architectural Lining Systems  incorporate environmental sustainability into the design, manufacture and installation of their interior lining products.

Supawood offers a green range of wall panels and ceiling panels that eliminate negative environmental impact through careful material sourcing and manufacturing methods.

Aware of the importance of an integrated environmentally sustainable design process, Supawood works in close cooperation with the design team throughout all stages of a project to achieve the highest rating level possible in green design.

Supawood’s green interior panels have been chosen for use in some of the highest Green Star rated buildings built in Australia in recent years.

Where clients have specified environmentally sustainable development initiatives throughout their design, Supawood’s panels have won the client’s approval by complying with the most stringent requirements.

The Bank Headquarters at King Street Wharf, Sydney is a fine example of the type of project where the design team chose Supawood’s interior panels.

Awarded a 6 Green Star office design rating, this project has established a new benchmark in environmental sustainability and workplace functionality.

Supawood Supacoustic chill-beam timber screens in spotted gum veneer as well as Supacoustic custom slotted metallic silver finished ceiling, bulkhead and wall panels were used in the project.

All interior panels are certified to BCA Fire Retardant Group 1, 2 or 3, use low formaldehyde E1 MDF made from Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified plantation grown timber and feature factory finishes that emit minimal volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Additionally, Supacoustic acoustic panels have superior noise absorption, which achieves further Green Star credits.

Supawood also supplied the interior panels for the project at 78 Waterloo Rd, Macquarie Park, NSW, which features 5 Star NABERS and Green Star sustainability and efficiency levels, exceeding the criteria for an A-Grade building.

The interior panels for the green design project were chosen to meet all stringent environmentally sustainable design requirements while allowing design creativity. Supawood also met client requirements for cost effectiveness and demountability for re-use.
