The ‘Colours of Vivid’ project by 32 Hundred Lighting was a major highlight of this year’s Vivid Festival.

A beautifully synchronised play of colour across eleven of Circular Quay's most famous buildings, the 'Colours of Vivid' project featured a Pathway Pathport DMX-over-Ethernet system to distribute the data network using Ethernet and airBridges.

Iain Reed, managing director of 32 Hundred described the five single Pathport Uno nodes and one Octo node as easy-to-configure Artnet to DMX protocol converters.

According to Iain, the Pathport gear allowed them to run the entire project on Ethernet, while the Pathport management software helped track the network. He describes the Pathway product as a simple-to-use and cost-effective solution that provides extremely flexible data routing systems for large installations.

Pathport networked DMX products provide both DMX-over-Ethernet capabilities and powerful must-have DMX management features.

Pathway Connectivity’s Pathport series of Ethernet DMX distribution nodes is available in wall-mount, rack-mount or portable options. Several models in this range are available in Australia from Jands , a leading distributor of professional lighting systems, and sound and staging equipment.
