The Hettich Australia stand at the AWISA exhibition in Brisbane last
year attracted a huge audience interested in the brand’s innovations. AWISA, the
largest woodworking exhibition in the southern hemisphere, was held in Brisbane
in August 2014.
Hettich’s Marketing Support Manager Corene Roberts said that the 2014
AWISA exhibition provided them a platform for presenting new products and trends
from the drawers, hinges and sliding and folding segments.
Hettich’s high‐quality premium sliding doors include the InLine XL
system for flush fitting cabinets providing maximum design flexibility,
functionality and aesthetic appeal. Designed without handles, the sliding doors
open in response to a light pull on the door's outermost edge. The InLine XL sliding
door systems are available for wardrobes as well as pantry units.
ArciTech now combines a mechanical push to open drawer opening system
with the luxurious feel of the soft‐close Silent System resulting in a handleless design,
a standard drawer, no electricity and narrow front panel gap, all in the same product.
ArciTech is available in Silver and Anthracite finishes.
Presented for the first time at AWISA, the Sensys wide angle hinge gives
cabinet doors a wide opening angle and closes them evenly and gently. Zero‐protrusion
hinges make it possible to fit internal drawers without spacer profiles,
preventing trapped fingers regardless of the position of the door.
Supplier woodworking magazine awarded the Gold Star Award to the 165 degrees
Sensys wide angle hinge. The multi award winning Sensys wide angle hinge has
also received the iF Product Design Award 2014 and the Red Dot Award Product Design
2014.
Corene Roberts added that visitors were able to see and experience for
themselves how Hettich products could make living spaces work beautifully. After
the success of the AWISA exhibition in Brisbane, Hettich looks forward to Melbourne
in 2016.
