Tapware and safety solutions provider, Enware Australia is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
From its modest beginnings 75 years ago, Enware has, through constant innovation and steady expansion, made its impact at the national as well as international levels.
Enware celebrated the occasion recently with a barbecue and cake cutting ceremony at their expanded Caringbah facility.
In his official speech to the staff, Executive Chairman, Paul Degnan outlined the history of the company and its significant growth in the past 26 years since taking over the business. He was joined by his son and Managing Director, Adam Degnan who spoke about the company’s core values and belief systems.
The Enware staff were joined at the event by Deputy Mayor of the Sutherland Shire, Mr Kevin Schreiber, who reiterated the importance of local manufacturing businesses such as Enware to the Shire.
Today, Enware employs approximately 170 people in Australia, with a further 30 in their Singapore, Dubai and India offices to help export their technologies into South-East Asia and the Middle East. Their product range still has a niche focus for laboratory, schools, hospitals and food service, and includes electronic tapware, thermostatic mixing valves, emergency deluge showers and emergency eyewash systems.
