Dulux introduces a new range of durable acrylic coatings designed to withstand the general cleaning routines in various healthcare and clinical environments.

The latest addition to the Dulux Professional range, Dulux Professional SteriGuard Durable Acrylic Low Sheen meets the needs of architects and specifiers working in the healthcare space where there is greater emphasis on hardwearing, long-lasting and reliable coatings.

Dulux Professional SteriGuard acrylic coating has been introduced at a time when there is greater focus on the healthcare infrastructure segment – in the next 12 months and beyond, $5.92 billion worth of healthcare projects are expected to be completed in Australia.

Dulux Trade Senior Brand Manager, Anthony Voyage explains that Dulux Professional SteriGuard Durable Acrylic Low Sheen contains Bio-Pruf Technology, which assists with the reduction of mould and bacterial growth on painted surfaces, making it the perfect coating solution for hospitals, veterinary and dental clinics as well as aged care and medical facilities.

Durability is a major requirement in clinical environments, and Dulux Professional SteriGuard delivers the required performance with a chemical- and scrub-resistant, low maintenance formulation. The low odour of the coating enables a quick return to service with less disruption for patients.

The low sheen coating enables architects and specifiers to achieve a softer look in medical and healthcare environments. Dulux Professional SteriGuard Durable Acrylic Low Sheen also meets the Green Building Council Australia guidelines for low VOC content.

Available in 15L packs, Dulux Professional SteriGuard can be purchased from Dulux Trade Centres or through a Dulux representative.
