Film for cars showrooms from Window Film Association of Australia and New Zealand
Case study from the Window Film Association of Australia and New Zealand
Diverse weather conditions prevailing in South East Melbourne propel the residents to install films for effective insulation against varying temperature conditions.
Owners of a new car dealership in Frankston found the solution in window film, available from Window Film Association of Australia and New Zealand.
Large north-facing windows at the Bayside Jeep, Chrysler & Dodge dealership, enable passers-by to see the range of cars on display, attracting customers while providing natural light inside.
Mark Lockwood, Arma Protection Tinting, explains, “Window films can be retrofit that eliminates costly, energy-saving glass to solve internal temperature issues. Film is an inexpensive, safe and hassle-free window treatment that does not impede the view from inside or out”.
Over the course of two weeks Arma Heatshield film was applied to 1,200 square feet of windows at Bayside. This type of film uses nano-technology in its composition, where miniscule ceramic particles are applied to the film instead of metal-based particles.
The windows appear exactly the same as they did prior to the application thereby not affecting the visbility. The showroom is now cooler on hot days and also insulated against heat loss throughout winter.
