Casement windows

Casement windows, available from Windoor , are typically hinged on the side and can be opened outward to capture the breeze and direct it into the building.

The casement windows can be manufactured with one or more sash that opens.

Windoor’s casement windows are all manufactured with stainless steel stays to ensure smoother operation and a longer life.

All casement windows from Windoor have seals to prevent drafts and help prevent moisture penetration when closed.

The seals also help prevent heat loss in winter. The sash is made from the traditional larger timber section sizes. It is quite a simple matter to add Colonial or Federation bars to a window along with coloured glass to capture the true period character.
