New Weather Proof Plasma Screen Enclosure from Wilson & Gilkes
To meet the emerging applications for placement of LCD and Plasma screens in outdoor situations, Wilson & Gilkes has designed and manufactured the ProKon ODE-1.
Normally, the placement on an electronic display where it would be exposed to weather and other elements would be totally impractical.
The ProKon ODE-1 has been specifically developed to overcome this problem as well as providing other benefits.
New in August 2007, The ProKon ODE-1 is a weatherproof enclosure for mounting a 42” plasma screen on an external wall, and is the first in a series of mounting systems.
The ODE-1 is manufactured to an IP 55 standard and completely weather proof. Rain will not affect an enclosed screen when correctly fitted into an ODE-1.
The metal housing and correct and secure installation act as strong deterrent for would be thieves. The purpose designed acrylic front panel provides clear screen visibility while providing protection from stray objects. Display settings are safe from wandering hands.
With comprehensive in-house design and production facilities, Wilson & Gilkes can modify the basic design to meet the needs of specialised applications.
