Rail66 is a rail system designed, as the name implies, with an IP66 protection rating for exterior applications.
Rail66 offers a new set of design options for façade, element and feature lighting. Rail66 may be suitable for the outdoors but is also entirely suitable for interior usage. Rail66 offers good flexibility and mobility. Rail66 can be mounted vertically, horizontally permanently or temporarily.
Think streetscapes, public areas, outdoor events, city malls and quickly the applications become many.
The mobile version of Rail66 is ideal for floor mounting and suited perhaps to temporary lighting installations; the universal version can be used in several places and the cantilever version addresses the need for outreach to illuminate signage and permit wall washing.
Installation is made easy by supplying the rail pre-wired and ready for termination. The luminaires provide an extensive lighting toolkit and importantly use high efficiency, long life, compact metal halide lamps run on energy efficient electronic control gear.
Rail66 luminaires are designed to work with any lightbar from Ø48-60 mm; this means that WE-EF Lighting’s extensive range of compact, metal halide, projector and floodlight luminaires; products that represent new metal halide lamp and electronic control technology, can migrate to other systems.
The key difference with Rail66 is that it incorporates the power supply within the rail. Weatherproof plug and socket connectors’ provide power to the individual luminaires.
