Viridian’s glass for bushfire compliant window systems

The recent bushfire devastation in New South Wales has once again brought the issue of building in bushfire zones back into focus. 

With many people now left with the task of re-building their properties, it is imperative that anyone building or re-building in bushfire prone areas uses the correct materials that meet the strict Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) standards.

When Viridian PyroGuard 40 is used in a tested window system that has passed the requirements of AS1530.8.1-2007, it is suitable to be used in buildings in bushfire attack levels up to and including BAL 40.
