The newly released Xtreme Flame Zone bushfire windows and doors system will be displayed by Trend Windows & Doors at the upcoming HIA Melbourne Homeshow from April 7-11 2010.
The Xtreme Flame Zone bushfire windows and doors range has been assessed and rated to AS3959-2009 Standard, which is full Flame Zone or AS1530.8.2. This Standard is applicable to products that can meet the absolute extreme conditions of direct exposure to flames from a fire front, in addition to heat flux and ember attack.
The bushfire protection products combine Trend’s technologically advanced CSIRO tested BAL 40 (1530.8.1-2007) Xtreme Window and Door system with Pyro-Protec seals and glazing systems and standard 5mm or 6mm toughened glass and the Smoke Control CSIRO tested (1530.4) Windowshield Fire Curtain to produce the Xtreme Flame Zone Bushfire System.
