The iconic home of the Australian Open Tennis Tournament, Rod Laver Arena has received a comfort upgrade ahead of January’s event.

The windows that run around the entire building have been tinted with solar film in a move to improve patron comfort. The windows on the Superbox level, which had been a source of uncomfortable heat gain during summer, were tinted with Solar Gard ‘Slate 10’ solar film which has dramatically lowered the temperature in the expansive corridor that runs around the building.

Tint Design was chosen to complete the supply and installation of the solar film for this project due to their experience working with high profile buildings in Melbourne.
