TigerTurf recently installed synthetic turf at Lalor Secondary College, in Victoria's north. The project, necessary to drought-proof the college, was funded by the government as part of the National School Pride government initiative.
The new synthetic turf has transformed the existing 'dust ball' oval into a safe and attractive synthetic TigerTurf surface, usable at any time. An added benefit is the fact that TigerTurf synthetic turf does not need watering, and requires very little maintenance.
The oval surfacing consists of a long pile, sand and rubber filled surface, TigerTurf Lush, for the field area, and TigerTurf Tournament 1000, a sandfilled surface in terracotta for the surround.
