To support the success of TigerTurf ClayTurf, the surface has been added to the official International Tennis Federation (ITF) list of classified tennis court surfaces. The court pace rating is Category 3, medium.

Tennis is played on a variety of surfaces, which can influence the style of play and quality of performance. The ITF court pass classification programme has been developed to assist purchasers of tennis surface products to determine the type and speed of surface most suited to their requirement.

The introduction of TigerTurf ClayTurf, which has similar playing characteristics to natural clay, has proven popular with coaches and players. ClayTurf does not require any watering, which in the current climate is essential. Maintenance is low and allows players to train and develop their game to compete on an international stage.

Recent installations of TigerTurf ClayTurf include Greensborough TC, Noble Park TC and Gladstone Park TC in Victoria.
