Melbourne-based electrical heating specialist Thermofilm Australia has released its new Heatstrip, an energy efficient electric radiant heating panel which will ensure that no permanent or temporary public space need go without heating.
According to Thermofilm Australia’s managing director Bob Reynolds, there are now virtually no building or structure areas where comfort and convenience cannot be provided.
“Thermofilm set out to design and build in Australia an electric heating strip which employs both radiant and convective heating principles to provide an evenly dispersed heating area for restaurants, bars, patios, living and entertainment areas, in fact anything from a single room to a complete,” Bob Reynold says.
The key to the Heatstrip design is a high surface area, extruded aluminium profile which radiates the heat efficiently. This ensures rapid, even distribution to establish a comfortable environment. There is no noise and fumes, no moving parts, no glass components and no red-hot elements.
The heater casing comes in zinc-plated steel with a tough paint finish. Heatstrip is supplied with optional brackets for angle, suspension, recess or T-bar mounting and can be mounted from 2.2m to 8m in ceiling height without loss of performance.
