In early 2010, treetops surrounding several Sydney landmarks will be transformed by leading architects, designers and artists as part of the TreeLife exhibition by The Cool Hunter . The exhibition will run for one month and demonstrate how a variety of examples of eco-design and sustainable construction can be incorporated into an urban environment.
Director, Laura Demasi, suggests that the exhibition will reignite the public’s interest in matters concerning environmentally sustainable design. All the treehouses will be located in prominent locations in order to gain maximum exposure and be constructed from sustainable or recycled materials.
Demasi said that the aim of the exhibition is to appeal to a wide audience and highlight the importance of environmentally sustainable design for architects, designers and the general public alike.
