A vintage / antique table lamp is not ‘just a light’
Remember, interior lighting has one simple basic function - to illuminate an interior. But once we decide to move on from that basic function, we are met with a vast range of options to choose from. Once we have gone through the ‘period of sorting out’, we will arrive at the high end of ambient or, decorative lighting. We will arrive at the place where interior designers find their table lamps!
No interior of the classic style could be seen as complete without the integral use of high quality lamps. The Antique and Vintage Table Lamp Co . produces just such a range and currently show a collection of over 100 examples to choose from. When they speak of antique, they really mean it. Their earliest lamp was made in 1650 during the Chinese Ming dynasty.
Their vintage selection includes Art-Deco from the 1920's, with lamps up to the 1950's. Specialising exclusively in vintage and antique table lamps, Maurice Robertson of The Antique and Vintage Table Lamp Co. has plenty of experience to call on. For over 30 years he has dealt internationally with the high end of porcelain and pottery. He has even supplied the Prime Minister’s department, museums in Australia and U.K and numerous private collections through the world.
Robertson has incorporated his ceramic knowledge into the production of a unique range of ‘one off’ classic table lamps. The range includes ceramic lamps, glass, bronze and pottery from China, Japan, England and France.
