Sydney Water Tanks manufacture concrete underground water tanks for rainwater reuse around the home. The unobtrusive SWT’s Rain Switch and pump uses tank water first and then automatically switches to town water to supply outlets specified on the Basix certificate. Sydney Water Tanks strong underground water tanks feature:

3800, 5000, 6100 and 10,000 litre capacities
Tanks can be joined together for larger capacities
Tanks are wet cast 40mpa steel fibre reinforced concrete for extra strength and reliability.
Controlled manufacturing processes ensure all tanks are accredited to AS/NZS1546.1

Smart Design Features

Rain Switch: SWT's clever Rain Switch automatically sources rainwater for your selected outlets, switching seamlessly to the town water supply only when tank water is low.

The SWT Rain Switch compiles with ATS 5200.477 and has been granted a WaterMark licence by SAI Global, Australia's premier quality assurance organisation.

Back flow prevention Flap Valve: installed in the outlet pipe, the flap valve ensures excess water flows freely to the gutter, but prevents the backflow of contaminated water and the infiltration of vermin into the tank.
Construction phase Bypass: Provided to builders, the bypass pipe prevents debris entering the tank during the house construction phase. The bypass pipe connects the inlet to the outlet, and is easily removed when construction is complete, leaving the tank pristine and ready for use.
Variable Height Inlet and Outlets: We calculate the best location and inlet depth of your water tank to ensure the maximum fall to the tank. This means every drop is harvested for increased rainwater storage while eliminating the need for charged lines and sediment build up in the pipes.
Child-proof Access Covers: Each rainwater tank is fitted with childproof access covers and a lockable galvanised steel safety grid to keep your family safe.
Leaf Filter: A 1mm stainless steel mesh filter covers the inlet to stop leaves and other debris entering the water tank.
