Supertuft carpets are achieving levels of around 7 and 8 kw/m2 when tested for Critical Radiant Flux. This is far in excess of the 2.2kw/m2 minimum required for floor coverings in lift cars and therefore Supertuft’s carpets comply.
The regulations for lift cars are stringent. Supertuft’s carpet also complies for all other carpeted areas of public buildings.
The carpet ranges that comply include Escape Velour and Wizard Velour, Escape Twist and Wizard Twist, Funky, Hip Hop and Groove.
