Australian hotels employ Studor’s sanitary drainage systems

Studor’s sanitary drainage systems in Australian Hotels
The first P.A.P.A. (Positive Air Pressure Attenuator) unit in Australia was installed in the Marriott Hotel landmark high-rise building situated in Sydney’s Central Business District by
Studor in conjunction with Sydney Water and the First State Colonial Bank.
The installation was completed in record time and resolved the previous positive pressure problem identified within the hotel’s sanitary drainage system.
Since this project, Studor’s plumbing systems have been employed in numerous other hotel projects such as:
Sofitel Hotel, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, the 13 storey hotel, utilised 18 x P.A.P.A’s and over 300 x Air Admittance Valves (AAV’s) to not only provide a more efficient stack drainage system, but to also overcome the prohibitive costs, associated with the installation of Fully Vented Modified HDPE stack to comply with Green Star Rating.
More recently the skyline in Darwin has a new feature, Pandanus. This 29 storey tower comprises a combination of commercial space, serviced apartments and a hotel.
65 x Positive Air Pressure Attenuators were utilised, in conjunction with numerous Studor Air Admittance Valves to provide the new construction with a streamlined sanitary drainage system.
