Studco Building Systems has released a new range of sound isolation products to combat acoustic airborne sound, which has become a major issue for architects and interior designers for high density apartment living.
Studco’s range of resilient mounts suit standard furring channels and top cross rails for effective noise control. This results in ease of construction for contractors who only have to replace standard direct fixing clips with Studco’s resilient mount clips. Resilient mounts are the most effective acoustic control system as they isolate the system from the building structure.
Studco says its resilient mounts are extremely cost effective especially when used with furring channels for battening of inter-tenancy walls, achieving a smaller footprint resulting in an increase in floorspace as opposed to traditional systems.
