Custom bench seats for the Green Bridge project
Designed in conjunction with Wilson Architects, the furniture for the Green Bridge development was intended to be a linking element between the University of Queensland site and the Dutton Park parklands.
Constructed from standard stainless steel sections and timber slats, the large custom bench seats were designed to sit well within both the natural setting of the parklands and within the modern architectural lines of the bridge and bus terminus.
The Green Bridge project also utilised many of Street & Garden Furniture existing products previously specified throughout the UQ campus, including wheelie bin surrounds, drinking fountains and bollards.
