Stramit steel floor framing


The Stramit residential floor framing system is the ideal component solution for single and two-storey residential construction.  

The system delivers design flexibility and fast, easy floor construction.  The two joist components - C-Joists and Open Web Joists - can be used separately or as a system, making Stramit Floor Framing adaptable to a variety of house designs.  

Stramit Residential Floor Framing is suitable for flat or sloping sites.  It provides a reliable, engineered solution with significant savings in time and labour.  

Joists and bearers integrated on the same plane.  Just insert joist in open channel bearer and fix.  Saves on building height and cladding costs.  

The high strength-to-weight ratio provides long spans that reduce intermediate bearing walls and columns.  

The Stramit Residential Floor Framing system was fully designed, developed and tested at Stramit Building Products’ Research & Development facility.  The system conforms to all relevant BCA and Standards Australia requirements.
