Fixed by a hydraulic rotary drive, the Steel Foundations’ star finned screw pile is screwed into the ground according to the designed length and the fins are left to rotate as they are heaved vertically along with the shaft into the ground. The foundations’ engineering design for signage, lighting, etc. is based on identifying the loads to be applied in different soil conditions.
Steel Foundations’ star finned screw pile system requires no excavation or shoring, needs only one machine for pole erection and installation and can be easily detached and relocated.
