Status Decor has introduced a wide range of artistic glass that can be used in glass wall applications both internally and outside for building decoration and landscape uses.
Interior designers and architects wanting to add some ideal factor aesthetic appeal, can select from artistic designs from Status Decor or specify there own custom theme.
New technology methods have been developed to carve plate glass by CNC machinery using diamond tools. This method now allows artwork to be added where desired to create glass walls, glass balustrade and glass fencing.
Other techniques of colour infusing, laser etching, sandblasting and texture grinding are used in combination to create designs for glass walls, which are as artistically accurate as a painting.
Heat bonding of multiple layers of glass to the sheet can create a 3D appearance.
Glass walls are generally laminated for safety. Heat curving is available for glass sheets up to a maximum of 19mm thickness to enable designers to specify large curved glass walls to commercial projects.
The translucent light effect of glass walls can be adjusted with texture and frosting to provide privacy part way up the wall and full light transmission near the top.
Crystal and star burst effect to the design can be created by double glassing sheet panels. This also provides the advantage of a smooth surface to both faces of the glass wall with additional insulation and noise reduction.
