In October 2006, Stair Lock International launched its new American Red Oak Stairs. The new product in the Stair Lock range of price competitive Stairway systems, was as a result of some of Australia’s prominent builders not being able to source top quality timber stairs at realistic prices.

The stairs are manufactured using stair treads with a solid EO-MDF substrate core and a thick, Red Oak surface layer that can be re-sanded and re-polished up to 5 times. This gives Builders and Architects the ability to lower their costs without compromising on quality and appearance.
