Geyer Design, on behalf of building owners ISPT and Bovis Lend Lease, Construction Managers, are developing a state of the art foyer for their new building in the prominent CBD location, Brisbane.

Geyer Design approached Sprocket Kiosks with a variety of concepts, which they felt would satisfy the proposed interior of the building. Sprocket Kiosks tailored an existing product from their standard range of freestanding Digital Directory hardware.

In order to generate increased attention towards the display kiosk, the team at Geyer wanted a custom developed backlit Laser cut Signage panel which read in their ‘100 Creek St’. The aim of the solution was to:

  • Provide tenant information to building visitors and couriers among others.
  • Enhance and improve the visitor experience.
  • Save time and costs associated with manually updating static directory systems.
  • To mirror the architecturally designed interior aesthetic of the building
  • Ensure the Building Manager can update tenant information with ease and immediacy.
  • Ensure all building tenants are appropriately represented to their customers or potential customers.
  • To have a commanding presence.

Floor Standing, stainless steel kiosks were required to achieve the above as a complete Digital Directory Software application.

Bovis Lend Lease became aware of Sprocket Kiosk’s Digital Tenant Directory solution through a previous installation at St Kilda and were referred to this site by the building owners, ISPT. The criteria for the selection of the Digital Tenant Directory solution from Sprocket Kiosks were based on the following criteria:

  • Quick turnaround time on kiosk build, manufacture and supply
  • Range of standard and custom products for a total digital solution
  • Provide a uniquely configured software solution

Sprocket Kiosks provided Bovis Lend Lease and Geyer Design with a customised version of the popular D32 Freestanding Kiosk. This included laser cut lettering and an illuminated signage panel, which boldly read ’100 Creek St’ in the client’s unique font.

The D32 was floor mounted with Sprocket Kiosks designers providing the necessary templates to the building management to provide power to the sites. The stand alone application, which requires only power, can be updated manually through a mini USB keyboard.
