Brisbane’s South Bank Arbour is a key feature of the South Bank parkland and one of the city’s foremost recreational and cultural precincts. The scenic walkway is a popular part of the project, used by runners, and as the setting for numerous art gallery and craft markets.
As part of the recent re-development, Spectra Lighting worked in conjunction with the architects and contractors to create an ambient atmosphere on the Arbour.
It was important to devise a lighting solution that was environmentally sustainable and weatherproof. Micro spotlights were installed to highlight the details of architectural elements and create a layered lighting effect, enhancing the peaceful, harmonious environment of the Arbour.
Spectra’s micro spotlights are constructed from high quality materials and have cast bronze corrosion resistant fittings. They can be fitted with MR16 halogen diachronic lamps that operate on low voltage (12 voltages).
