What is Pultrusion?:
Pultrusion is a process used to manufacture composite materials. Two forms of continuous fiberglass reinforcements (roving and mat) are impregnated with a resin, then drawn into a heated die which polymerizes the resin and determines the cross-sectional shape and finish of the final product. The resultant Sovereign engineered profile is so strong that it is load bearing, unlike aluminium and timber. No thermal distortion is a feature of the profile. Therefore, far larger windows and glazing screens can be produced without the thermal disadvantages of traditional window.
